maruti esteem car firm and its political trends in the car industry

There is no maruti esteem car firm in India. We have only Maruti Suzuki and maruti esteem is one of the models of car produced by it. It has no political connections what so ever. The government has 10% share in the company at present. There is a plan to sell it. The govt is thinking over it.

there are no political trends in the car industry except for the industry veterans kowtowing the politicians to get the best deals in their respective states, and vice versa, as well as for industry representatives lobbying for new tax rates.

Where did maruti or esteem come into the picture?
