Is fitting a CNG kit in a Baleno a good idea

Hi. l am thinking of fitting a CNG kit in a Baleno. l am in Delhi and would wanna know what are the benifits/downside of doing such a thing. Also if l could get addressess of reliable/authorised fitment centers.

l would say no as most of the times your car will be stinking with LGP smell and you will lose your warrenty on car too. Maruti has not started their own LGP kit yet as add-on to you car. You will have to go to some private vendor for LGP kit.

It is a good idea - there is no loss of power, no smell, and your running cost reduces to one third.

Downsides are - limited filling stations, and lack of luggage space.
