WagonR Is Best Specially Ahe LPG 1

well ashutosh maruti aint coming out wid 5 new models.

only 2 new models will come out this year. one replacing zen & other replacing esteem.

and both re in different segments than alto & wagon r.

still wagon r & alto lxi too re in different segments.

alto is 796 cc, 45 bhp car givin 16-18 km/l.
it will cost u around 2.70 lacs on road
it is the best sellin model of maruti after maruti 800
inner space is a big constraint
if ur budget is under 3 lacs then go for it.

wagon r is 1000 cc 64 bhp car.
it will cost u around 3.4 lacs on road
mileage is around 13 km/l
its a tallboy car but rear seats have very less leg room
boxy look can be an issue
it has recently been redesigned & cost has increased a bit.


still l would suggest try tata indica zeta.
it gives u more space,
better mileage
2.70 lacs on road
cng can be fitted which will give u 80paise per km as compared to 4-5 rs per km of other petrol cars

cng kit can be fitted in alto & wagon r too

so if ur budget is upto 3 lacs chose between alto & tata indica zeta

if ur budget exceeds 3 lacs try wagon r & santro

if u can wait till november then maruti is launching new zen which has a great design & great performance but it would surely be above 3.5 lacs

As far as power is concerned WagonR is obvoiusly powerfull than alto, but WagonR mileage is 10 to 12 km/l & on contrary alto gives 17 to 18 km/l. For city driving alto is good enough but if u very often go for long distance u should go for WagonR.
Now WagonR has come up with LPG option, so that can solve the mileage problem. Santro is much better than WagonR at same cost. Wait for some time Santro will also come with LPG option. New model of zen is also arriving soon with total makeover.

Alto Lxi. 'Coz, it gives you the best mileage in India after Maruti 800 and it was also the most selling car of 2005. The A.C. is also superb.

well both the cars are best in their places.but being an automobile engg l would go for wagon r as it has space,power,looks n high roof top as l m height but alto is an xception as it has got everything except height so alto is best compared to wagon-r

If costing is the issue then alto is far better than wagonR while comparing their average km/lt, spares, servicing and other expenses.Alto is an makeover of 800 with 5gears. Besides,it doesnt react much if AC is switched on as compared to WagonR. The insurance cost would be an added saving foreseeing the coming large increases in premiums.

wagon r is the better one.try the new version of the wagon r. it is cheap and drinks very less and it has got nice utilities such as dual srs airbags and automatic side view mirrors. all this u get at a very low cost

The WagonR is the better car.No competition there.It has more space and headroom.But the alto has better fuel economy.The WagonR also looks good.Operational and main. costs are almost similar to both cars.
