Absolutely no, bcoz maruti is one of the engines with Low cc & low Bhp & low rpm that too with only 4 gears. So if u r trying to use wider wheels, u will loose the following things:

1.will loose Sudden Pick -up & overall pulling upto 20 %, bcoz of wider wheels with low Bhp engine will really feel hard to pull.. & temperatire of the engine rises a bit quicker than ordinary tyres so the coolant & engine head will also feel pressure..

2. mileage is a major factor, will have to loose nearly 15 % or even more of ur mileage as normally when the tyres r wider, the load is high on the engines so obviously the engine is a bit thirsty.

3. Its the car with lower weight & so the tyres r designed for that. If u change it with wider wheels, U will have to loose some money for a bit earlier replacement of the suspension rods & balance rods. Sometimes drive shaft too. U will hear very high sounds from the tyre when u r travellin with windows open.

4. Very main thing is that with wider tyres, the part of the body that covers the tyre (i.e, above the outer side of the tyre there is a covering part in the body that is normally 3 inches above the tyre), if u drive with 2 or more members on ur rear seat on a bit bad roads (sometimes in gud roads too), the suspension will normally go down upto 4 or 5 inches, So there will surely be a crack sound u hear, nothin but the contact of the tyre with that body, which leads to a very bad damage of ur tyre & will reduce tyre life by 30 % or more. To overcome this problem u will have to rise the suspension height by 2 or 3 inches so that u will loose total stability of the car at speeds over 70 Kmph.and also poor suspension in the rear side..

5. With normal steering (non power steering), u will feel great pain with ur shoulders while u turn ur vehicle.. that too very heavy feel when not moving, sometimes u cannot turn it at all .

So with Wider wheels, u will have to loose more than 20 % for running cost, maintainance, driving pleasure, efficiency, pick-up & power..

The one & only advantage is the stability & road grip of the car is improved upto 25 % with wider wheels, but u should not alter ur suspension for that (as point 4 says). Some feels it has an improved looks.
So Go for it if u can dedicate all those for looks & road grip..
