Can l get a new Maruti Gypsy? If not are second hand easily available. Is it gud to buy a second hand

Gypsy is produced only on demand. Any reason you want the old technology gypsy rather than other modern SUVs like Vitara, also from Maruti?

Gypsy is available only on demand.It would take atleast 2months for u get delivery after booking.Company has also hiked its prices.Costs Rs.5.5lacs for soft-top version on-road.
It would be better if u find a good model in second-hand market.u can get acheap model n modify it to ur taste n style.a 8-10yr old model would cost around Rs.1lac.

l advise to not go for a gypsy as you literally require a private oil well to own one. It is very low on average. If you like jeep type cars then you should wait as mahindra is soon going to launch Mahindra ACE which is for army but could be available for civilians later. It is very powerful, the petrol version is 4200cc and around 273bhp.

If u cannot wait for long then go for a SUV ( a safari or a scorpio?).

Worth a look. But buy it second hand. But the ride is very bone-jarring. l suggest you take a look at the sumo. Good reliable vehicle. If you love driving& offroading, then the gypsy it is.
