Maruti Suzuki Swift, whats your opinion about this car for regular city driving use

Swift is good. Reasonably priced. Easy on Petrol. Easy on Spare parts. Easy to park in small spaces and easy to manouvere while driving in traffic..and specially meant for Indian pot-ted roads. Others are good to look at, but not necessarily an Indian bride.

Suzuki makes very reliable products. The Swift would be a great city car.

HI,LISTEN SWIFT PETROL IS A GOOD CAR BUT FOR CITY RIDE FOR NORMAL PEOPLE ITS NOT GOOD. l AM SURE THAT ITS ONLY GIVE 8-9KM MILE AGE IN CITY AND 11-13 IN HIGHWAY.FOR NORMAL PEOPLE ITS VERY COSTLY.

BUT SWIFT DIESEL IS A GOOD CAR.ITS A LITTLE BIT COSTLY AS ITS ON ROAD PRIZE IS ABOUT 5,65,000RS
BUT IT GIVE A MILE AGE OF 15-17 IN CITY RIDE WITH AC IN DIESEL.ITS CHEAP AND HAVE A POWER EQUIVALENT TO PETROL CAR.ITS ENGINE IS DDIS{WORLD ENGINE OF THE YEAR BY FIAT ITALY}.ITS PARTS ARE CHEAP

it is waste of ur money.

Swift is not a really good car. Cause its starting price is above 5 lakhs while the Tata Sumo Victa(2008,Full Options,6 Cylinders) can be bought for below 500000. But if you want a good car similar to the Swift try the Hyundai accent.

Extremely peppy. The car zips through traffic. The overall flat gear ratios make sure that u do not have to keep on changing gears in traffic. On open roads, the car will overtake most cars with ease(you will also find almost every other small car trying to over take you, & failing! ). The specs here say that the top spead is 156 kph, l say bullcrap; l have clocked 170 kph & had to only stop acclerating because sanity caught up with me. Even at 170 kph, the car is extremely stable & with the windows up, its not even possible to tell the speed without looking at the speedometer. No wind noise, no vibrations barely perceptible engine noise, even at this speed. No vibrations even while idling. The engine gently purrs when u start acclerating & roars at high/near red lining RPM.

Maruti Swift is the best in its class my swift is giving a good mileage of 14-15 in delhi. so its mileage is also good.
