Maruti Suzuki of India is phasing out the Esteem because its aging. Its being replaced by a version of the Swift sedan. Go to Edmunds.com, then click on ''Insideline.'' Search ''Maruti Esteem.''

To replace that a new model will be lunched with the name ' SPLASH '.
In fact it wont be replacement but new model in the segment.
It might be lunched by the month end.

Yes the production of esteem has been discontinued and maruti is working to bring swift sedan on that platform.

Yes, Esteem is going to be discontinued. And new addition is sedan version of Swift i.e with dikki. Same as of TATA indigo.

Niether is it being discontinued or changed it is going to be the same for the coming 5 years atleast,maybe a couple of small changes in the exterior or the interior.Nothing major though.
