Hi Friends...
l am stuck with the decision of buying Swift Petrol VXi or Diesel variant VDi.
Difference in price is around 70k - Diesel being priced5.4L
l intend to drive it approx 1000 to 1500 kms per month.

While diesel variant is priced more but then l might save on fuel prices and manage to get an improved average of 18KMPL where as the petrol offers only 12KMPL in city.

l live in Delhi and my driving is mostly in stop and go city traffic...

Any advice friends...

hi dude l use a indica v2 which gives me average of 18.5 to 20 on highway with ac and speed of 120kmph and l stay in mumbai so u know the traffic l get a average of 15+ so l would prefer to go in for indica and my yearly travel is 25000 km so l have to spend just 65000 for maintenance and diesel so it is cheaper and a good vehicle

l would surely recommend you to go ahead with Swift VDi if you are well concerned with FE and long run maintainance and you have to travel 1000 to 1500 Kms a month. So way to go with Swift VDi.

The Swift diesel is a great car with a great fiat engine,this is the finest engine mounted on this car. Unlike other cars it does not pull back when u switch the Ac on. Good power for that segment. Well all this for a price which you C`nt refuse.

hi..Also l want to tell u that Fiat has launched palio stile multijet diesel which has same engine that swift is having.and palio is much better built and also its cheaper then swith by around 20k-30k test drive palio before u take a decison.

DIESEL

You can go ahead with VDi, but make sure you opt for ABS. l have driven Swift VDi and its a good performer with great fuel economy.
