l have got checked the point and plug, changed the engine oil, got the servicing done, but the things did not improve. l am keeping a watch on the mileage since last 1 and half year and the mileage is consisrently the same. Please advice me to improve the mileage.

carburettor setting,jet changing, may be done,you are short by 2or 3 kms only

If the mileage remained same since last year, carburettor of your car does not have any problem. The average u mentioned is in the city or Hi-way?. if its in the city, then 12 km/lt is O.K.

Get it tuned. Tell the mechanic that you want ''mileage''. In this case, power and pick up will suffer slightly, but you will get better mileage.
