Also, tel me whether it is advisable to go fot Alloys and what would be the draw back of it, cause am worried whether the steering would become hard. And also tel me it is better to go for a tubeless or radials with alloys?

if u really want to put alloy and radial .do with out any worry and one thing more with alloy wheel only tube less works good,nothing else .dont worry about the stearing,u feel very comfortable when u driving the car after that,one thing u should always remember that put same size radial which was along with your alto when u buy.ok bye drive safe.

u can but your fuel average will down at least 1 to 2 km. what company is giy suggestion ving is good, 4 new stlye its ok. but my suggetion is its not look good in this model

get alloys wheels bec. the look gr8 but alloys wheels will effect your braking distance, MPG, speedometer reader (if u get a wider then your stock rims)
if the steering is automatic then do not worry about it and if is a manual u will feel some change.
l personaly like a tubeless with thin thread..looks cool and sporty.

A tubeless with an alloy will be good combination as u wo not have the fear of blowing up tyre or having a complete flat.Close ur eyes ad go for this option as it will make ur car quite a bit safer.

The steering remains normal like a plain alto LX,does not become hard,but proper tyre pressure has to be maintained(28-30 psi).

Guess all these must have confused you,i've also got a two year old alto LX with alloys from 'AURA'(an alloy company).Here r a few of the advantages of alloys:

-The alloys make ur car a bit lighter thus adding to fuel economy.

-they also imrpove the handling of the car in the corners & gives high speed stability(This has been proven mathematically as well as practically),but it depends on the number of spokes the alloy has(the more the number of spokes the better).

-last but not the least they look good too.

While getting the car delivered with the alloys do check if the spare wheel is also fitted with the alloys & fit the spare wheel to one of the running wheel positions whether the alloys of the spare is of the same size as that of the other wheels.

it all depends on the size u choose. never buy an alloy wheel or new tyres which is not the same as standard fitment. if u go for broader wheels & tyres, in Alto, when u steer fully to right or left, it will touch the inner walls of ur car. this will slowly tear ur tyres. if u put smaller size, ur mileage & kilometers covered will be showing wrong reading as these tyres rotate more than the standard size. In Lx u dont have power steering. And adding alloys will not put more effot on steering for Alto. u will have the same feel on steering. As alloy wheels of Alto r heavier than the ordinary wheel rims, it will drop mileage, but it will be hardly 400 to 700 metres per litre.
U can put tubeless tyres, but when u consider the Indian road contitions, it is safer to carry a spare tube in the boot. In case of puncture & loss of air, u can fit this tube inside the tubeless tyre & drive home safely.
Hence my advice, go for alloys with tubeless tyres of the standard specificatio, carry a tube in boot & enjoy a new sporty driving!!!

Alloys dont look good on the alto
