Need suggestions on the engine l can opt for, am planning to retain my 4*4, hence l must have a engine which has a supporting gear box function too.

Selling it and buying a diesel car is a better idea.
The conversion requires major modifications and, even if you are experienced in such work, it is not worth the money spent.

l suggest a 2.0 liter isuzu engine would do fine. at times they do fit it on the ambassordors.

Have heard of Toyota diesel engines being used for this. Have you tried asking the mechanics / workshop people? For jobs like this, it is better to identify a good workshop before actually getting this done.
